In nature, as nature

Explore how you relate to yourself, others, and the other-than-human world by joining me for a

Forest Bath - in person or virtually.

Forest Therapy Walk

Through a guided experience, either in person or virtually, you will be invited to join in relationship with the Land you are with. There are many, many human health benefits of spending time in nature, and the practice I offer is also an invitation that supports remembering and rediscovering our intimate relationship with nature, as nature.

This is not a hike or a naturalist experience (though I do love those experiences too!). During about 2 hours together, we will probably walk less than 1.5 kilometres. You will be fully encouraged to follow your body’s wisdom while we explore partnership with the Land and the present moment. As the lineage I am trained in says - “the forest is the therapist, the guide opens the doors”. (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy)

I’d be honoured to be your guide - join me!

“In a high-paced world that progressively takes us out and away from nature - this is a great, accessible practice to return to something beautiful that lives within the core of us all”

“Time in nature is always well spent. Time with a forest guide to provide purposeful engagement and reflection, self awareness and awareness of the rich world around you. This experience is truly helpful to our health and well-being. Amy did a wonderful job facilitating a connection to nature that is both personally renewing and promotes appreciation that we are part of the natural world”

"The Leadership group at The Heart of Riverdale had the pleasure of doing a forest bath session with Amy as part of our annual planning retreat. After a full day of hard work and intense planning, her guided forest meditations were exactly what we needed—relaxing, thoughtful, and deeply grounding. The experience was not only super cool, but also a perfect way to connect with nature and settle into the wilderness around us.

It truly set the tone for the rest of our retreat and gave everyone a moment to pause and reset. Our whole team loved it and deeply appreciated the time Amy spent with us. We're all hoping to work with her again—this was such a unique and meaningful group activity for our crew at The Heart."

Pricing varies for individual, small group and large group offerings. Please contact me at amytheordinary@gmail.com and we will figure it out!

With the intention of reconciliation and reciprocity, there is no expectation of financial payment for Indigenous folks who join a forest therapy walk.
