I am profoundly grateful to be experiencing life on the Traditional Territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. The opportunity to raise my children in this place has been an incredible gift. I recognize that these Lands and Waters sustain our lives and recognize Yukon First Nations’ relationships with these Lands and Waters since time immemorial. I am on a journey of unlearning human supremacist, colonial, capitalist and patriarchal ways of being and operating. I recognize this learning journey never ends. I aim to be always open to feedback, particularly from folks with lived experience of oppression that I have had the privilege not to experience.

I am also grateful to all the beings who have helped and continue to help me on my life journey - Plant beings, Animal beings, Elemental beings, Ancestors, Humans.
